The 2-year postgraduate programme offers an advanced exploration of philosophical traditions while developing sophisticated research and analytical capabilities. This degree enables specialized study across various philosophical domains and contemporary debates. The curriculum advances understanding of Indian Philosophy through in-depth study of Vedanta, Buddhism, Nyaya-Vaisheshika, and Samkhya-Yoga systems. Students engage with these traditional schools while exploring their relevance to contemporary philosophical questions.

Contemporary philosophy forms a significant component, covering phenomenology, existentialism, analytical philosophy, and post-modernism. The programme encourages critical engagement with modern philosophical movements and their implications for current global challenges. Advanced study areas include philosophy of mind, exploring consciousness and cognitive science, and advanced logic, developing sophisticated tools for philosophical analysis.
