Justice Jagmohanlal Sinha, also a distinguished alumnus, pronounced a landmark decision in State of Uttar Pradesh v. Raj Narain that had historic implications during the Emergency. The Board of Trustees serves as the college's governing body, ensuring that important goals are met and our vision is upheld. The president provides day-to-day leadership and overall oversight Meerut College's responsibilities, reporting to the board and functioning as a member. Senior staff supervise the academic and administrative responsibilities of the college along with advise and support the president's work.
The Meerut College Alumni Association serves as one platform for former students along with providing a sense of friendship. Its purposes include bringing ex-students together under one fraternity, facilitating social service, and sharing knowledge. The group raises funds in a variety of ways to support its initiatives and utilize the resources effectively to accomplish its goals. The association also establishes scholarships and awards for deserving current students, named after eminent alumni or donors. Regular cultural events and gatherings are organized to strengthen bonds among ex-students. Through these multifaceted efforts, the association aims to create a lasting impact on both the college community and society
